Week 5 Reflection

August 4 - 7

We finalized our VEP recruitment decisions! We put together a great team and I'm excited to start working with everybody!

This week we had a S.O.A.R. workshop, where I learned the meaning of this acronym (situation, obstacle, action, result) and how to utilize it. I also learned that it's really useful to have example situations ready for interviews to demonstrate your skills, so that's something I'll definitely keep in mind for future interviews!

I really liked this section in this week's reading of Emergent Strategy. Adrienne is interviewing Danni McClain, who recalls a moment with her Grandmother. I thought the story was sweet, and I also really like her message of how meditation comes in different forms.
