July 7-10

   This first week was a great start to the internship! I began reading Emergent Strategy by Adrienne Brown, started using MeisterTask to organize my to-dos, and attended two workshops; Soft & Hard Skills, and Identity & Diversity.

 

   I already had a general idea of what hard and soft skills were, but after the workshop, I was able to differentiate the two more clearly and identify skills that fall into each category. At the Identity and Diversity workshop, I learned more about visible and invisible identities and reflected on how my own identities shape how people view me.
